Predvajanje je možno zaradi podpore Kino Kluba Split in Kino Kluba Zagreb.

Upcoming program:
Amateur films by female filmmakers / 13. 12. 2017, at 20.00, Galerija K18

The history of Yugoslav film amateurs is a dominantly male history – women’s place in the production was mostly the one of being an actress. This evening shall be dedicated to one of the rare female amateur film makers in Yugoslavia – Dunja Ivanišević who was active in Kino Klub Split. The sad story is, that she left Kino Klub Split after not being taken serious by her male amateur colleges after finishing her first and only film “Žemsko” (1968). After falling into oblivion, the film was rediscovered in 1987 and tends to be called the first Yugoslav feminist experimental film.

Because there are no other films (digitalized) which were made by female authors in Yugoslavia, the screening of Dunja Ivanišević’s film will be embedded in more current film productions by female film amateurs from Kino Klub Zagreb.

The screening is possible thanks to the support of Kino Klub Split and Kino Klub Zagreb.
