To vemo vsi.

Kako so sami začeli spreminjati družbo?

Potopise pripravljajo prostovoljci_ke MISC INFOPEKA. Razbijamo stereotipe! Vstop prost!

You’re invited to Pekarna potopisi’s travelogue: Greece on Thursday, 13. 4. 2017 at 20:00 in INFOPEKA (the presentation will be in English)

The agreement between the Greek government and the European institutions that was passed in 2010 revealed the massive Greek debt to the wider public and caused a collapse of the Greek finances. But, this is a story that almost everyone knows. In the same way that we know that big crises create even bigger gaps and bipoles. The economic consequences of that year constitute just one of the many facets of this crisis that seemingly started then. But this officially declared bankruptcy was just a realization that Greek society has struggled quite a bit before, maybe 2 years, in 2008, when an event set the time frame for a new reality: a reality of insecurity, of doubt, of distrustfulness, of extremism and radicalism, of powerlessness, of confusion, of instability and imbalance.

In this travelogue the reasons will not be explained, but rather, the actions; what happened after, when young people realized that they were part of this situation and how they reacted to that slap on the face. It will not be a lecture about the mistakes of our grandparents, our parents, our government, our choices, because more or less they are known. It will be a personal story and perspective by someone who was living among these young people during these moments. A story on how young people acted; finding alternative solutions, making small ventures, searching for new ways of cooperation and solidarity. Unfortunately, his is just a small group, one side of the story…what about the rest?

The travelogues are being prepared by the volunteers of MISC INFOPEKA.  We’re smashing stereotypes! Free entrance!
